About Tim

I take an optimistic and positive approach to Counseling. We're all doing the best we can with our unique experiences, skills and abilities. There are no bad parts of us! The human experience can be truly challenging at times and sometimes didn't learn the skills needed. In our work together, I hope that you are able to recognize your true value and infinite potential.

In therapy, we spend time looking at what’s working and what’s not, and set goals for what you want your life to be like. We will pull from several evidence-based therapies to create an individualized experience made just for you. We'll work together to define your goals and a path to get there, adjusting as we learn. There is never judgement, only acceptance, humor, and compassion.

At the age of 50, I went back to graduate school to pursue my passion -- counseling. As both a professional and counselor, my dual careers and family keep me grounded and in touch with many of the day to day challenges that my clients face.

I strive to demonstrate humility, curiousity, and compassion to my clients, as we work together to imagine the possibilites and achieve your goals for therapy.
